Welcome to ABODE

ABODE provides a welcoming, peaceful home and unconditional loving care to our guests through the compassionate service of our community and volunteers.

Our Vision

Dying is a sacred time of life. Love, compassion, and a home matter to all who are dying; those whom we honor and from whom we learn. We serve the community as an educational resource in the art of contemplative living and dying.

Big THANKS for a BIG Give!

Thank you from all our hearts at ABODE for our donors’ support in helping us raise $78,428 during the Big Give. These gifts will provide needed operating expenses to continue our vital work of offering compassionate, interfaith and spiritual care in a contemplative community so that our guests leave this world in dignity and grace.

How to Become an ABODE Guest

Guests, who are believed to have just a few months left to live, must have a hospice managing their professional care. They may be recommended by a hospice agency, family members, or caregivers. See the guest agreement for more details.
