Our Vision

Dying is a sacred time of life. Our home offers a welcoming place for those who are dying and those who journey with them. Reaching out to the community, we are a resource in the art of contemplative living and dying.

Our Mission

Our guests are recommended by hospice agencies. We support and supplement the care provided for dying persons by their loved ones and hospice. In our home, well-trained volunteers give shelter, meals and personal care to our guests. We are also a community education center that honors death and dying as a natural rhythm of life.

"Be sure, I am with you, I shall keep you safe wherever you go,"

said God to Jacob in his dream.

Jacob awoke and said "How awe-inspiring this place is!

This is the abode of God, and this is the gate of heaven."

--Genesis 28:15-17

The Four Abodes of Buddhism will help guide, sustain and encourage

both vision and mission through the practice

of Loving Kindness, Compassion, Sympathetic Joy and Equanimity.

O Allah, O our Lord, You are peace, and from you is peace,

and to You returns peace.

O our Lord, give us life of peace, and usher us in the abode of peace.
